The Professor Rajendra Singh Science Exploratory (PRSSE), established in 2015, is an
educational institution run by an NGO, focused on inspiring and educating young minds
through hands-on scientific exploration. It is located in west Nagpur near Alankar Talkies
near Shankar Nagar Metro Station.
The Laboratory Training Program offers students practical experience in various scientific
disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, through hands-on
experiments conducted in state-of-the-art laboratories. Students visit once a week for two
hours for this year-long programme.
Key features of the Laboratory Training Program
- Hands-on experiments in various scientific fields
- Around 35 sessions throughout the academic year.
- Exposure to national/international competitions.
- Outreach programs, including exhibitions, sky watching and guest talks.
A total of 400 students will be selected from various schools of the city through entrance
exams scheduled in April for the year-long training program.
Students currently in 5th, 6th, and 7th grades in Nagpur are eligible to register for the
Entrance Exam.
The last date for registration is April 2, 2025.
The Entrance Exam will be conducted on April 10, 12, 13, 14, and 18, 2025 at various slots.
Students can select the slot of their choice in the registration form. Students need to
appear for exams in the laboratories at PRSSE.
The Entrance Exam fee is ₹50, which can be paid online via UPI.
The exam will assess theoretical knowledge, observational skills, and motor skills based on
the middle school syllabus of Maharashtra State Board and CBSE.
The annual fee is ₹ 6000

Yes, interested students and parents can visit the exploratory during office hours on
Saturdays (5 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sundays (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
Some of the competitions like Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanik Competition, Vidyathi Vigyaan
Manthan (VVM), Science Olympiads, Inspire Manak Awards, National Science Exhibitions (CBSE)
etc.
Admission Open
Admission to Prof. Rajendra Singh Exploratory is open to all students who have an interest in science. Admissions are fixed in the month of June-July for one year academic session till April.
